For the past two years the I Walk Because™ Team has held a nationwide contest to find people with MS to participate in a series of podcasts on our website. The podcasts feature the winners sharing their personal stories of why they chose to walk.
 
 
Every Step is a Story™ has been an opportunity for people with MS to let the community know who they are and why they participate in the Walk MS events. For the selected winners, I Walk Because™ sent a video crew to their home and recorded their story. Then, their podcast was aired on the I Walk Because website.

Past winners have included...

  • Jennifer & Dan, a married couple who are both living with MS, who started participating in Walk MS events seven years ago, and now have a team of 31 who join them from all over the country.
  • Mark, a busy father of five, who shared with us how he and his family live with his MS and how they're raising awareness and money for MS research.
  • Lea, a mother of three, who walks to support research because she believes a cure for MS can be found in her lifetime.
